Our Achievements

In Toronto, Canada, Showdown in the Six Tournament came to an end.

On the last day of the Tournament the trainees of Neftyanik Sports School for Children and Youth of 2004 Birth Year (the Coaches are Vil Fakhrutdinov and Khalim Nigmatullin) again encountered Maroon Hockey Group Team whom they lost at the Group Stage. And again the opponent succeeded more – 4:1 for Canada. According to the tournament table Neftyanik-2004 took the third place.

Khalim Nigmatullin tells about tournament results:

- To sum up and to make quick points about this trip, it should be noted that for the first time the children saw and experienced what Canadian ice hockey is. It is quite different. Due to their small rinks they have to be quick in thinking and making decisions. May be, that's why they are the first in the world. Our kids felt awkward; they had to adjust. Taking all things together, they showed themselves and were very pleased with what they saw.
